Join Us!

*****UPDATE******:
Sadly, last night a home beside the field where we were planning to meet burned down. Out of respect to the family whose home burned and their neighbors, we’ve decided to cancel our rocket launch and pack meeting. We’d still love to have you join our pack. You can join us either by contacting us through this website or by coming on Wednesday and quickly signing up. We’re looking forward to lots of other fun activities in the future.

Pack 400 will be holding our annual join night on Wednesday, September 23rd 2020 starting at 6 pm. This year’s join night will be a little different as we’re working hard to keep everyone healthy and safe. Therefore, we’ve decided to combine our join night with one of our favorite activities – shooting model rockets. We’ll meet in the field across the highway from Mountain High Chapel, our traditional location for pack meetings. This field is at Hwy 285 and Settlers Drive, next to the firehouse. It will be a great opportunity for you to learn about Scouting and our pack while launching and chasing after rockets. We’d love to have you join us. There’s no need to RSVP, just show up (with your mask) and join in the fun.

HOW CAN I LEARN MORE?
There’s some basic information below and throughout this website. You can always get more information by using the “Contact” link at the top of this website or one of the email addresses on the “Leaders” page. We encourage you to come check out any of our meetings.

WHO IS PACK 400?
Pack 400 is a “pack” of 40 to 60 boys, girls and their parents. The children are in K through 5th grade and are arranged into “dens” by age.

Pack 400 draws students primarily from West Jeff Elementary School, Parmalee Elementary School and those living in the neighborhoods around those schools.

WHAT DOES PACK 400 DO?
Some of the best things about Cub Scouting are the activities the children (and sometimes you) get to do: camping, hiking, racing model cars, going on field trips, or doing projects that help our community and the people who live here. Cub Scouting means “doing.” All our activities are designed to have the kids doing something and by “doing” they learn some very valuable life lessons.
